Veer Sawarkar Punyatithi Celebrated at G. S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir

The students of G. S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir celebrated  “Veer Sawarkar Punyatithi” on 26th February 2022.The programme began  with the garlanding of the  portrait of the great revolutionary Veer Sawarkar,

by the students of std VI, followed by the lighting of the traditional lamp by the school Headmistress Mrs Gayatri Shirsat , Asst. Headmistress Mrs. Pooja Dalvi and the class teachers of std VI.

This was followed by the speeches of the students of  std IX and VI, in Marathi and English languages. In  their speeches students shared information about Veer Sawarkar’s life and literary work. Patriotic songs written by Veer Sawarkar were also sung  by the students. PowerPoint presentation on Veer Sawarkar’s life was also shown to students present. Teacher  Alok Barve also shared memorable incidents of Veer Sawarkar’s life with the students. The programme was compared by the Teacher Reshmi Manerikar.
