G. S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir Wins the Chess Championship

In the the Taluka Level Inter-school Chess Tournament, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, the U-17yrs girls team of G. S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir comprising of Sayuri Naik, Avani Hegde, Kashvi Prabhudesai, Parthivi Naik and Maithili Gauns secured the 1st place. Whereas the U-17yrs boys team comprising Sairuda Nagvekar, Nawal Sawant, Pratnesh Malvankar, Manasva Khorate and Aditya Naik won the 3rd place. The Chairman of the school Managing Committee Adv. Sanjay Usgaonkar, the Headmistress Mrs Gayatri Shirsat and the staff congratulated the victorious teams.
