The Annual General Body Meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association of G.S Amonkar Vidya Mandir was held 13th July 2024 at 3p.m in the school assembly hall in the presence of Chief Guest, Shri Bhagirath Shetye, Chairman of The Secondary Board of Education. The program began with a floral welcome of the Chief Guest by Mrs. Rupa Parab. This was followed by the reading of the school report by President of the PTA and Headmistress of the school, Mrs Pooja Dalvi. The Distinction holders of SSC batch 203-24 were felicitated at the hands of Chief Guest, Shri. Bhagirath Shetye. In his speech, Mr. Bhagirath Shetye spoke on the importance of developing skills along with a firm knowledge base and addressed the parents on the New Education Policy to be implemented for class 9. The PTA Report 2023-24 was read by the Chairman of PTA, Shri. Vaman Khorjuvekar and the minutes of the last Annual General Body Meeting were confirmed by Mrs. Prajaya Singh. Mr Alok Barve read the statement of accounts of PTA 2023-24. A new PTA committee was selected for the year 2024. The Chairman of the New PTA Committee is Shri. Shailesh Suresh Sangodkar. Mrs. Poonam Naik and Mr. Ajay Kothawale addressed the queries and concerns raised by the parents regarding various issues pertaining to the school. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. Pritam Harlankar and Mrs. Sheetal Naik for program 1 and 3 respectively. The Compere for the program was Mrs. Poonam Naik.
