Shivajayanti was celebrated in New Goa’s G.S.Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa on 19 February 2024. On this occasion the portrait of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was garlanded by the Assistant Headmistress Mrs Zena Viegas. Speeches were given by teacher Roshan Shet and students Mast.Gurudas Nasnodkar, Miss. Fatima Halari and Mast. Hasim kureshi. Thereafter a cultural programme that consisted of songs, dances and monologue was presented by the students. The programme was compered by students Mast. Aradhya Sutar and Miss. Noorin Sheikh. Poems were presented by teacher Mohini Halarnkar and Mast. Arya Hasolkar on the life of Chatrapati Shivaji
