Founder`s Day was celebrated in New Goa`s G. S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa by the students of class V. Headmistress of the school Mrs. Pooja Dalvi and Assistant Headmistress Mrs. Zena Viegas lightened the traditional lamp. The students presented a welcome dance and a poem. Speeches were delivered by the teacher Mr. Sunil Bandekar and a student Mast. Aditya Mandrekar. The programme was compered by Mast. Sarthak Mandrekar.
