Celebration of Shiv Jayanti at G.S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir.
Celebration of Shiv Jayanti at G.S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir. A short programme was organised by the students of std VIII on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti on 19 th February 2025.
The programme commenced with the garlanding of Shivaji Maharaja. Teacher Mahendra Bilgoji and student Mast. Sarthak Jadhav spoke eloquently highlighting the significance of the day. Headmistress, Mrs. Pooja Dalvi, was present throughout the event, providing encouragement and support to the students.
Student Miss Vedika Salelkar presented a beautiful poem and Master Sarvesh Salgokar captivated the audience with a powerful monologue reflecting the man of action Shivaji Maharaja.
The students also performed a vibrant group dance and a musical drama glorifying the life of Shivaji and heritage of Maharashtra, was presented by the students in the form of Pawwada`(song) which was sung by Miss Shamika Chipkar
The program concluded with the Prize Distribution of the Inter class Shiv Jayanti Quiz organised by the Students of std 8 for the students of classes of 5 to 7.
The entire program was skillfully compered by Mast Satvik Bhomkar and Miss Ishika Shirodkar.
