On Wednesday, 9th July 2024, G.S Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa inaugurated its new office at the hands of Goa’s Deputy Speaker and present MLA of Mapusa constituency Shri Joshua Peter Desouza. This was followed by a felicitation ceremony of Shri Joshua Desouza at the hands of the Manager of the School, Shri Mohan Kaul. A beautiful cultural programme was presented by the students which focused on the essence of Indian Culture and Woman Empowerment through the medium of song and dance. Shri Joshua in his speech advised the students on keeping up with the latest technology to enhance their knowledge in various educational fields. The Chairman of the School Managing Committee, Advocate Shri Sanjay Usgaonkar spoke of Cleanliness as the need of the hour and promised the co-operation of the school in making Mapusa a Clean and Green city. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. Shweta Harmalkar. The comperes for the programme were Mrs. Rosary Desouza and Mrs. Poonam Naik.
