The class social of standard 8 of New Goas G.S.Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa was held on 19 August 2023 in the school hall. The Chief guest was Dr. Manjusha Vengurlekar, Senior Resident Doctor at Goa Medical College. The chief guest was given a floral welcome by Miss Vrushti Naik . The other dignitaries present on the dais were the Headmistress, Mrs Pooja Dalvi, the chairman of the school managing committee Advocate Sanjay Usgaokar and manager of the school managing committee Mr. Mohan Koul. The audience was welcomed by Miss Seva Dinesh Parab. The Headmistress presented the annual School report. The meritorious students were given prizes at the hands of the chief guest & Manager of school managing committee. The chief guest in her address advised and encouraged the students to strive for all round development. Speeches were also given by Adv. Sanjay Usgaokar and Sir Budhaji Gawas. A cultural programme that included skits, dances and music was presented by the student. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mast.
