Mhapsa : G. S. Prize distribution ceremony was organized at Amonkar Vidyamandir on Saturday, 23rd November. The program was held in the school hall. Rajya Sabha member Mr. Sadanand Shet Tanavade was present as the chief guest for the program. The program started with lighting the lamp. Then the welcome dance done. 10th standard student Ms. Maitri Naik presented the song. Then the school president ad. Sanjay Usgaonkar introduced the guest. Chief guest Mr. Sadanand Tanavade was felicitated by Shri Raj Amonkar, the trustee of the school managing board. Also, the picture drawn by the former students of the school Saisha Divkar was also given to them as a gift. School Deputy Principal Zena Viegas was felicitated for her excellent work in the educational field and school sports teacher Narendra Parab was also felicitated for receiving a gold medal in the All India Pre Commission Course. The chief guest expressed his views on "The important role of teachers in the lives of students" in his speech. After that, prizes were given to the meritorious students of the school. This time on stage, school principal Mrs. Pooja Dalvi, Deputy principal Mrs. Zena Viegas, school management board trustee Mr. Raj Amonkar, school manager Mr. Mohan Kaul, president Adv.
