The class social of standard VI of New Goa’s G.S.Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa was held on 13 January 2024 in the school hall. The Chief guest was Mr. Vasudev Divkar, ex student of the school. The chief guest was welcomed with a potted plant. The dignitaries present on the dais were the Headmistress Mrs Pooja Dalvi, Assistant Head mistress Mrs Zena Viegas, the chairman of the managing committee advocate Mr. Sanjay Usgaokar and school manager Mr. Mohan Kaul. The audience was welcomed by Miss Chelsea Oliveira. The meritorious students were given prizes at the hands of the chief guest. The chief guest in his address appreciated and encouraged the students. Speeches were also given by Adv. Sanjay Usgaokar and teacher, Mr. Alok Barve. On this occasion, a cultural programme that included skits, dances and music was presented by the students. Vote of thanks was proposed by Miss. Lavanya Raul. The programme was compered by Miss Shriya Barve, Mast. Omkar Prabhugaokar and Miss. Rajvi Naik.
