G.S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir (New Goa High School) recently welcomed back esteemed alumnus Mr. Clayton Barreto, currently serving as the Social Secretary to the High Commissioner at the High Commission of India in London. Mr. Barreto`s visit was a momentous occasion, filled with gratitude and reminiscence.

During his short visit to Goa, Mr. Barreto expressed his deep honor in being associated with the school and his gratitude for the solid foundation it provided for his career growth. He specifically thanked the Chairman of the school managing committee, Ad. Sanjay Usagaonkar, for inviting him and honoring him for his achievements. Mr. Barreto also expressed his excitement at the immense changes that have taken place in the school`s infrastructure, noting the development under Ad. Sanjay Usagaonkar`s leadership.

The visit included a warm welcome by trustee and member of the school managing committee, Mr. Suharsh Usagaonkar, on behalf of the management. Mr. Suharsh Usagaonkar, along with Headmistress Mrs. Pooja Dalvi and Assistant Headmistress Mrs. Zena Viegas, presented Mr. Barreto with a memento as a token of appreciation.
