Goa Revolution Day 2025
Goa Revolution Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at G.S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa on 18th June 2025 . The programme began with the Headmistress, Mrs. Pooja Dalvi, offering floral tributes to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia’s portrait, honouring his contribution to Goa’s freedom struggle.
Teacher Mrs. Mohini Halarnkar addressed the students, explaining the significance of the day. She urged students to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and contribute towards building a bright future for Goa with responsibility and dedication.
Students Shreya Barve and Saiesha Sawant delivered speeches highlighting the life and efforts of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and other revolutionaries. Patriotic songs were presented by students, followed by a short play based on Goa’s liberation movement.
The Headmistress, teachers, and students actively participated in the event. The programme was organised by the students of Class 8. Sanvi Swar and Shanaya Wadkar skillfully anchored the programme with valuable guidance from their class teachers.
