The class social of standard 7 of New Goas G.S.Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa was held on 02 September 2023 in the school hall. The Chief guest was Adv. Sonali Amir Gaitonde. The chief guest was given a floral welcome by Miss Nitya Mangaonkar. The other dignitaries present on the dais were the chairman of the school managing committee Advocate Sanjay Usgaokar and manager of the school managing committee Mr. Mohan Koul, the Headmistress, Mrs Pooja Dalvi, The AHM Mrs. Zena Viegas. The audience was welcomed by Miss Sanvi S Dhargalkar . The Headmistress presented the annual School report. The meritorious students were given prizes at the hands of the chief guest & Manager of school managing committee. Chief Guest spoke on the importance of values in the lives of children. She encouraged the children to learn good values and become better human beings as this is the essence of being human. Speeches were also given by Adv. Sanjay Usgaokar and Teacher Mrs Rosary DSouza. A cultural programme that included skits, dances and music was presented by the student. Vote of thanks was proposed by Miss Ishika. The programme was compered by Miss. Chhavi Alonkar, Miss Vedika, Miss Vedashri and Mast Shlok Gauns.
