The class social of standard 9 of New Goas G.S.Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa was held on 22 July 2023 in the school hall. The Chief guest was Miss. Dipti Gaonkar, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education. The chief guest was given a floral welcome by Miss Vibhuti Naik. The other dignitaries present on the dais were the Headmistress, Mrs Pooja Dalvi, Assistant Head mistress Mrs. Zena Viegas and the chairman of the school managing committee advocate Sanjay Usgaokar. The audience was welcomed by miss Rukaiya Noorin Shaikh. The Headmistress presented the annual School report. The meritorious students were given prizes at the hands of the chief guest. The chief guest in her address advised and encouraged the students to strive for all round development. Speeches were also given by Adv. Sanjay Usgaokar and Teacher Mohini Halarnkar. A cultural programme that included skits, dances and music was presented by the student. Vote of thanks was proposed by Swara Kerkar. The programme was compered by Manaswa Khorate, Rugvedi Vast and Durga Alway.
