Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti were celebrated in New Goa’s G.S.Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa Goa on 2nd October 2023. On this occasion, the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri were garlanded and the traditional lamp was lit at the hands of the Headmistress Mrs Pooja Dalvi Assistant Headmistress Zena Viegas, scout master, guide captain and the school leaders. On this occasion speeches were given by teacher Mahendra Bilgoji and students Hridaya Shirodkar, Rickyth Kerkar and Seva Parab.
